Emergency Backup Water
The Challenge
A berry farm two hours south of Perth faced the risk of catastrophic pump failure at its primary dam. The farm's entire water supply depended on that pump — failure during the growing season would have meant significant crop losses. An emergency storage solution was needed immediately.
The Solution
Titan installed a 500,000 litre water bladder tank at an elevated position on the farm as backup water storage. The elevated position also gave the property a way to supply its irrigation lines by gravity feed, without the need for traditional pumps.
The Outcome
Titan delivered, installed, and made the system fully operational within one day. The result gave the farmer approximately four days of backup irrigation water in the event of a main pump failure — four days to troubleshoot and repair any issues, insuring against crop loss.
